Its shades of garnet-red charm us, the intensity of its mature, complex nose amazes us, its soft, elegant tannins capture us. Merlot is an excellent wine made in limited quantities from a selection of the best grapes from higher vineyards on the hills of Nimis and Tarcento. After macerating slowly in oak vats, Merlot ages in barriques for over 16 months.
